Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

New to the LCBO and arriving in perfect time to enjoy on those warm summer days and evenings. Simi Sonoma Country Dry Rosé, is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah, Tepranillo, and Graciano, from vineyards throughout Sonoma County, that captures and showcases the full range of expressive fruit from this premium California wine region. Fragrant cherry, fresh strawberry, a hint of lime, with dried herbs and candied cherry rounding out this tasty food-friendly wine. Enjoy with wood-fired pizza, grilled bruschetta with basil, strawberry spinach salad, and any grilled BBQ fare. Tasted July 2019. Great value! 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lovely dry rose, sourced from vineyards across Sonoma County in California. Aromas of red cherry, watermelon and strawberry. Dry on the palate with the tiniest hint of sweetness, medium acidity, and bright citrus and berry flavours and a smooth, lengthy finish. Enjoy with ham or salmon dishes.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Tart red fruit on the nose. Bone dry with notes of dried red fruits on the palate. Silky, smooth mouthfeel. This would disappear quickly at picnic! Try it with cold roast beef. Tasted July 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
From Sonoma County, Simi 2018 Rosé is terrific value under $20. Dry, juicy rosé blend from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and a dash of Syrah, Zinfandel red wine grapes. Lovely strawberry, melon and zesty citrus flavours with good acidity for food. Pair with a Hawaiian-style pizza. - Community Wine Reviews
