Smoky, meaty with bacon sizzle in this full-throttle Italian red wine. this is truly the benchmark for Valpolicella winemaking and uses those ancient methods of concentrating the wine via the drying the grapes and ripasso. Intense and powerful. Bring it on!

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A blend of 50% Corvina Veronese, 30% Corvinone, 15% Rondinella, with a splash of Cabernet Sauvignon as Sartori strives to balance tradition with crafting what consumers want, and Cabernet Sauvignon is certainly on that list. The 2010 Reius is simply glorious! Packed with concentrated dk cherry, sweet dried fruits, black plum compote, cacao, and dusty smooth tannins. This is a super approachable Amarone with polished layers making it a sure hit with any wine lover. Tasted September 2016. 92+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
This is one of the most respected and well-known Amarone producers. The 2010 vintage offers great depth and ripeness with an intense bouquet of black fruit and smoke and a persistent finish. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
