Here's a terrific party wine that won't break your budget. Dark and brooding with black fruit, smoke and a pleasantly bitter and refreshing finish. Cries out for hearty meat dishes, especially barbecue. Stunningly great price for this quality.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: red meat, pork, spicy sauces, sausages.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon from Santa Rita has a medium ruby colour with a fragrant and abundant bouquet. Cherries, stewed strawberries, roasted red peppers, smoke and some traditional herbal baking spices of thyme and oregano. Flavours are juicy and full - tart cherries, blackcurrants and blueberries. This is accompanied with nutmeg, mineral stones and soft cedar wood note. Dry crisp and delicious. Medium acidity exceptionally well balanced with a curvaceous body and lean finish. Tannins are tremendously well integrated. A roast beef’s dream come true. 88 points - tasted April 2018
