Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This one needed to be opened up for a little bit. Pale ruby colour. On the nose very, under ripe cherry, tart strawberry cinnamon spices and earthiness with gleaming red fruit and a hint of mushroom fungi. On the palate lots of spices. Ripe red cinnamon dusted cherries and rich raspberry with some steamed cilantro. Some nice chocolate and a hints of pencil shavings. Overall, very well balanced. Medium acidity, with a light body and minimal smooth tannins. Pair with light cheeses, veal, game hen or rich fish. 91 points.
Sacred Hill (2014) is a juicy, ripe black cherry and plum, mouth watering Pinot Noir from Marlborough, South Island New Zealand. Lovely lingering finish on this silky, smooth PN with fruitcake notes and cake spice. Great value and Fantastic! Enjoy now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews
