Keith O'Hagan Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review: Appearance: clean, water white core and rim Nose: peach then grapefruit, lingering dried banana Palate: mouth watering grapefruit, grapefruit pith Overall: Great contrasting wine, mouth watering acidity helps to cut through fatty foods
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: The Yearling Sauvignon Blanc, from South Australia's Coonawarra wine region, is a very ripe and refreshing wine that's perfectly suited for enjoying throughout the spring and summer. Very aromatic with sweet pear, lime, lemongrass, and a hint of minerality on the nose, while the palate offers mouthwatering acidity with a sweet and refreshing finish making this a great with to enjoy with spring and summer salads, fish tacos, and grilled white fish. Tasted April 2018. 88+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: I loved the Yearling Red and White for what they are. Lots of citrus on the white, with a hint of gooseberry, fresh cut hay and grass, with unripe green tropical fruit. 88 Points. Great summer sipper.
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: Watery white in colour with aromas of lemon, passionfruit and cut green grass. It is light bodied with mouthwatering acidity with lemon and passionfruit flavours following through on the palate. This will pair well with soft cheese and seafood. Tasted on March 11, 2018.
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: Actually, very interesting. This is a famed territory in Australian wine. It is prized for its unique topography (terra rosa) and lots of wild eucalyptus (which promotes 1.8 cineole; making wine fresh and minty). The bottle is green for marketing a crisp Sauv Blanc, but the wine has a greenish lemon hue. The aromas are intensely crisp. Snap pea, capsicum, lime, greengage, and dill. This was made anaerobically, much like stereotypical New Zealand. This one has a strong fresh green character that is delicious and refreshing. Australian wines have some pretty diverse terroirs, but this is a great price for one of their most sought after. Good price too!
Simon Chen rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review: very light in color. On the nose, it's grassy with a hint of tropical fruits. On the palate, it has bright acid and dry. Pair well with seafood salad or grapefruit salad
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review: Classic sauv blanc nose of gooseberry and grass. Lots of sourness flavours with citrus and floral. Would pair well with oysters or cheeses that could compliment the sourness (goat, feta). Tasted March 13, 2018
