Aromas of wild tart cherries and cedar forest. Smooth, savoury, mouth-watering, full-bodied and rustic. A meaty wine that's not too heavy. Great price.

Chianti food pairings: rustic Italian pastas and sausages.

Reviews and Ratings

Igor rated this wine as 89/100
Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This medium bodied Chianti has floral notes along with distinct plum and cherry aromas. On the palate I found it very pleasant, and not as dry as some other Chianti wines I have tried in the past. I detected a hint of cedar on the palate as well as spicy plums. A nice finish makes this wine a great match for Italian and Tuscan dishes.
Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is one of my favourite Chianti. It's one of those safe choices and you know you can't go wrong with it. I really enjoy its velvety taste. It is often my choice of wine when going to a "bring your own wine" restaurant because it can be paired easily with any meal.
