Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Intriguing depth and character - this wine is blessed with layers of peach, butter, spiced oak notes, and lots of fresh herbs and earth. Full bodied, blend of mainly Grenache Blanc, grown on poor stony clay land where the vines produce little quantity fruit - the nutrient-poor soil results in concentrated, focused, and high-quality wine. Its eighteen months maturation in large French oak founders or cement eggs is followed by bottling with no fining or filtering. Complex on the palate, rich, and very intriguing - not a wine you come across every day. High quality, worth every penny!
Rotem & Mounir Saouma Inopia 2015 is a white Côtes du Rhône-Villages blend of Grenache, Blanc , Viognier, Roussanne and Marsanne. Grapes for this dry and buttery white were hand-picked and cold macerated for one week prior to fermentation. Lots of rich fruit and a touch of oak spice on this medium-full bodied white. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
