A terrific, fresh unoaked (thus liberated from oak) white wine from Prince Edward County made from the classic Chardonnay grape. Aromas of golden apple and fresh pear. Match with roast chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: tuna or salmon sashimi and wasabi mayo or with shrimp pancakes with watercress, snow pea and poached pear salad.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Big love for this Chardonnay from Prince Edward County's Rosehall Run Vineyards. Another hit! Delicate with gentle nuances of pomelo citrus, white flowers, cucumbers and a soft whisper of stony minerals. Many evolving flavours while remaining restrained, light, dry and flavourful expressing its own purity. A stellar match for soft cheeses, herbed chicken skewers or grilled lake-fresh fish. - tasted July 2018
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Unoaked, accessibly priced PEC Chardonnay weighing in at 13.3% ABV. Medium acidity, medium fruit, medium alcohol, medium bodied. Bruised apple dominant on the palate. Significantly different from the 2016 vintage. Tasted 2017 vintage in June 2018. 86 points
