Reviews and Ratings

Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Oct 23, 2014: Tasted blind at NCSG Vintage pre-release event.
Medium ruby, somewhat candied nose of cherry, strawberry with spice and violet/floral. Medium body, good juicy almost tart acidity and velvetly drying tannins with sour cherry, red berry, currant and light oak spice and green herb on medium drying finish. The acidity and tannins in this would handle tomato based sauces and cheese well; chicken/veal parmigiana should be a good fit. 86+
Produced by Cantina Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano, this Italian red wine won a gold medal at the International Wine Challenge in Vienna in 2013. Perfect for pasta in tomato sauce. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
