Hearty aromas of black fruit with just a hint of tobacco on the nose. Beautiful fruit shines through on the palate. Finishes well, with soft, velvety tannins.

Satin smooth smokey finish.
Sara M - WSET Advanced reviewed this wine as follows:

Intense, ripe red fruit starts on the lush palate, leading to notes of forest floor and mushrooms on the smooth finish. Soft, silky tannins add to the rich mouthfeel, making this a well-structured, elegant Pinot Noir. Impress your friends by bringing this wine to a dinner party, or share with the wine lovers in your life over good conversation. Rodney Strong is certified in sustainability both in their vineyards and winery, making this an excellent gift for family and friends that are passionate about the environment.
Jamie Manuel reviewed this wine as follows:

Birthday gift from Mom & Peter
Supple in texture, with rose petal and red fruit aromas, this lively, medium bodied wine is aged entirely in small French oak barrels, which adds a subtle, toasty vanilla character and a hint of spice.
