An incredibly delicious BC Gamay year after year. It's hard to believe that the alcohol is so high at 15% yet the wine doesn't taste warm in any way. It's elegant and balanced. Aromas of dark cherry and spice with smooth tannins. Pair with veal.

Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Wow! This is a gorgeous, rich, bold, full-bodied Gamay with staying power! Beautifully intense and spicy on the nose, with smoky, spicy dark plum, crushed raspberry, cinnamon and pepper spice, smooth and long on the finish. The 15% abv has been tamed out of it. We poured it with BBQ ribs, but it could easily pair with grilled game sausage, roast chicken and roasted root vegetables. Tasted October 2020.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Slightly spicy and perfect for all of your upcoming summer BBQ's. Aromas of ripe cherry and strawberry, and some black pepper. Medium bodied and lots of ripe fruit and pepper on the palate with a bit of heat from the alcohol extending out the finish. Lovely! Chill this wine slightly and enjoy with anything you throw on the grill this summer.
