Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Iconic Australian wine producer, Robert Oatley, offers up a terrific value priced McLaren Vale Shiraz that's richly flavoured and ideally suited for enjoying with friends and good eats. Think BBQ ribs, tangy meatballs, or coffee dusted pork tenderloin. Deep ruby with a black core, blueberry tarts, bramble berry, chocolate covered raisins, mocha, vanilla, and sweet spice on the nose. Dry and full bodied with soft supple tannins, this big wine is rich in flavour with dark berries, more blueberry pie, baking spice, and dark cherry notes on the palate. Cellar for 5+ years or simply enjoy now. Tasted November 2015. 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
A robust Australian shiraz with aromas of oak, black fruit and cigar box. Pair with a rare steak. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
