A lovely cherry-berry rich Chilean red wine made from the classic Pinot Noir grape. Supple and smooth with good balance. Reminds me of Carneros Pinot Noir, the cool climate of the Napa Valley. This winery hand harvests in small batches in the cool morning fog of the Casablanca Valley. They us gravity flow for gentler handling of the wine. Perfect for roast chicken or turkey.

Pinot Noir food pairings: lamb chops, roast leg of lamb, roast duck.

Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

More than a few people at this tasting said it reminded them of a bargain Russian River Valley or Carneros and I totally agree. There is morning fog here too and the soil is rich in marine soils and sandy clay.
Pretty garnet red. Quite a bit darker than some Pinots.
Cherries, baking spices, plum, currant, dried flower.
It is really silky and well made. Subtle ruminating French oak.
Dark fruit (plums and black cherry), vanilla, smoke, and a dried wild spice note.
Great wine for fall fare, like roast poultry with fiddleheads.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Mirrrored nose and palate of strawberries and plum coupled with a subtle earthiness intertwined with the fresh fruit character. Complex, well integrated layers, and a lingering wildberry finish.
Wineboy rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

Very earthy.... too earthy.... bret!!!
Ritual (2015) is a full-bodied and fruit-driven Pinot Noir from the Casablanca Valley. Plum and strawberry on the nose, the wine shows the same on the palate withy a nutty, chocolate finish. Very nice and made from Biodynamic wine grapes. Drink now. - Community Wine Reviews
