A full-bodied Rioja red wine blend of 80% Tempranillo, 16% Garnacha, 2% Mazuelo, and 2% Graciano produced by Bodegas Franco-Españolas. This is a matured red that has spent 36 months in white American oak. Look for more dried cherry, fig, orange peel, baking spice, leather and sous bois flavours with a smoky vanilla finish on the ready-to-drink-now red. Pair with a venison shoulder roast.

Food pairings: lamb, beef, hard cheese, pork, duck.

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Notice the vintage! A Gran Reserva Rioja, this medium-bodied wine is great with a variety of foods. Dried cherry, vanilla with baking spices and smoke aromas. Medium tannins with mineral and savoury on the palate. Medium dry finish. Pair with beef, lamb, pork or a cheese plate including Manchego cheese at room temperature.
