So pretty! Bone-dry, delicate rose with aromas of wild field strawberries, the kind that melt deliciously in your hand from the warmth of your palm. Yes this wine is very dry. Perfect aperitif served slightly chilled or for a treat, pair it with smoked salmon.

Rosé D'anjou food pairings: pate, salads, cold chiken, grilled chicken or shrimp, seafood soup/stew.

Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A light, low alcohol Rosé that would be worth keeping in your cellar at all times. Inexpensive and versatile; rosé is not just a summer wine. This wine from the Loire made with 70% Grolleau, 20% Gamay, 10% Cabernet franc is slightly off-dry with aromas of red fruit. Strawberry flavours that start out a bit sweet but turn to a mouth watering finish. Pair with a charcuterie platter, spinach and strawberry salad, asian dishes and lightly grilled chicken or fish. Tasted March 9, 2018.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Medium bodied, balanced medium plus acidity, big fruit, low tannins. Drier side of off- dry, tangy, edgy and chewy. I’d love to pair this wine with fusion , say sweet herb-infused red pepper hummus or crisp lightly fried Thai spring rolls and sweet chilli sauce. Tasted 2016 vintage in Dec 2017. 87 points. Great value. Crowd pleasing.
