An elegant satiny smooth Petit Syrah with prominent black plum, blackberry, dark chocolate and floral notes. Balanced and flavourful with long tasty finish. Tasted May 2017 by @sommsosa / bespoketastings.ca
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Beautiful full-bodied California Petite Sirah blend. Tart and tightly wound. Declared 13.5% ABV. Great acidity, medium plus tannins. Blackberry, extra dark chocolate, a hint of black tea and violet. Great with a rare steak. Excellent value. Tasted 2013 vintage in May 2017. 89 points. BespokeTastings
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Plush and hefty; black cherry, blueberry, spice, bitter chocolate, sandy tannins and piquant acidity. Best with a juicy burger or steak.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Aromas of black cherry, blueberry, and baking spices, carry through to black cherry floavours, with present but balanced acidity and tannin, and a lingering peppery finish.
Tasted May 2017.
Petite Sirah makes robust reds with blueberry, dark cherry and blackberry compote. California Ravenswood (2013) has this and so much more with toasty oak, vanilla and sweet spice flavours. Tannins are still quite chewy. A rare grilled steak is recommended to tame the beast in this wine. Drink now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews
