The 2015 vintage of this lovely Vintage Port is made from grapes harvested from old vines that are about 80 years old. A gorgeous dessert wine, with aromas of concentrated blackberry and dark fruit, and spice. A finish that lasts seemingly 27 hours. Perfect on its own after dinner or with Black Forest Cake.

Port food pairings: blue-veined cheeses, roasted nuts, dark chocolate.

Reviews and Ratings

Quinta do Crast Vintage Port 2015 and bottled in 2017 produced from 100% Touriga Nacional wine grapes on average 80 years of age. Grapes are first foot trodden in a traditional lagar and are transferred into an open stainless steel tank where the wine cap is punched down by mechanically. Once fermentation is complete, the grapes are pressed and aged in French oak barrels for one year and a half. Brilliant violet in the glass with black cherry and sweet spice flavours on the palate. Nicely textured and well-balanced. Drink now and for the next 20 years. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
