This is an extremely powerful and concentrated BC Pinot Noir. It needs some cellar time to come together, but when it does: watch out! Luscious layers of black cherry and spice. Great mouth-watering acidity for seared tune and planked salmon.

Pinot Noir food pairings: duck confit, coq au vin, beef bourguignon.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

This Pinot Noir is nothing short of spectacular - it is the very best of Quail's Gate in West Kelowna, their flagship red wine. Beautiful, ripe red fruit with spice, earth and floral aromas and flavors. The palate is silky, refined and elegant with lots of room for development and maturity in the bottle. Lengthy cherry notes on the finish. Tasted November 2017.
Quails' Gate Stewart Family Reserve (2015) Pinot Noir is so lush, smooth and powerful. with layers of black cherry, spice, earthy florals and a mouth watering acidity. Decant for an hour prior to serving or hold in cellar for five years and pair with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews
