Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

I loved this Chardonnay, it is beautifully balanced and all those tropical fruit aromas and flavors made me think of the sun. Crisp and smooth with a hint of oak aging that compliments the wine, and doesn't over-power the wine. If you're looking for a wine to go with that roast chicken you are cooking on Sunday, this is it! Can't wait to have this one again.
Astrid Young - Sommelier ISG CAPS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Roasted chestnut on the nose, with a hint of smokiness and wood shavings. good concentration on the mid-palate and shows a savory side with a note of sage. Heres a great wine for roast turkey with stuffing, the acidity is plenty enough to match with all kinds of complex flavours.
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This full-bodied refreshing Chardonnay has ripe flavours of apple and lemon with vanilla, and buttery richness. The delicate oak character adds complexity without overwhelming.
This wine has long length on the warming finish.
Pair with cream soups and fish.
Drink now or cellar until 2017.
Date tasted: November 2014.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Crisp golden apple, with honey dew melon, and floral blossoms this is a fantastic Okanagan Chardonnay. Pair with seared fish, or seafood, with a light buttery sauce or fruit compote. Tasted November 2014. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.nataliemaclean.com
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Fresh bright lemon and apple, hints of oak, vanilla and butter, all subtle but present. Smooth and buttery with a longer finish. Full body and medium acidity. Really nice.
Great roasted chicken wine.
Tom Vigeant reviewed this wine as follows:

Apple, pear dominate on the nose, some citrus and minerality as well. Medium bodied, dry and fruit forward, well balanced acidity.
This family has been making wine and into horticulture since 1908 in BC's premium winemaking region of the Okanagan Valley. This estate was purchased in 1965 and sits on the shores of beautiful Lake Okanagan. One of Canada's benchmark producers of a variety of wine styles, not least this luscious, full-bodied Chardonnay. - Community Wine Reviews
