Black, brooding and flavourful Argentine red wine. Savoury, dark, meaty and juicy. Ripe aromas of blackberries and black plums with a smoky, satisfying finish. Elegant, full bodied with firm ripe tannins. Long and persistent finish. Pair with gourmet hamburgers.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: venison roast with garlic and wild mushroom, boar steak with red wine sauce and wild leek.

Reviews and Ratings

Marco Giovanetti rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Textbook cabernet nose bringing to mind green bell pepper notes, toasty oak, crushed black peppercorns and cassis. On the palate, this cabernet shows an excellent balance between power and finesse. Retronasal flavors bringing to mind blackcurrant flavors. Polished tannins and a racy finale. A glass of this wine would be perfect with a rib eye steak with creamy mashed potatoes and grilled red peppers
Zuccardi Q (2013) is definitely a full-bodied Argentinean, robust red wine with firm and grippy tannins. Intensely purple, it is elegant with black plum, spicy, smoky, looong and persistent finish. Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this wine are picked from two vineyard areas in Gualtallary, Tupengato at 1225 metres and La Consulta at 1060 metres above sea level. That type of diurnal temperature variance assists in fully ripening grapes and keeping them fresh and fruity at the same time. The front label illustrates the stone walls of Zuccardi's Uco Valley winery rising from the soil and is symbolic of how the Andes Mountains emerged millions of years ago. - Community Wine Reviews
