Reviews and Ratings

Ronald Georges du blogue Millésime rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Un excellent prosecco italien qui étonne avec ses saveurs de fruits blancs, de pêche, d’agrumes et de fruits frais. Servez-le bien frais.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely and delicate sparkling wine made from the Glera varietal using the Charmat Method. Fragrant nose with peach, melon and slight lemon, adding apples and pears on the crisp palate. Delightful as an aperitif or to accompany shellfish (maybe seared scallops in a fennel cream sauce?)
Donna Hargrove rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The perfect greeting for guests, this Italian prosecco (from 100% Glera grape varietal) starts with fresh fruit aromas followed by apple, pear and citrus hints. Great on its own but also delicious paired with light seafood or creamy pasta dishes. Tasted October 18, 2015.
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Delicate with notes of peach, golden delicious apple and honeysuckle. A little sweetness on the palate with it's delicate bubbles, suggest this wine would pair very well with scallops in cream butter sauce or try with a fruit salad drizzled with honey. Tasted November 29, 2015.
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Crisp, delicate, and refreshing, with fine lively bubbles, honey, orange and citrus pith aroma with repeating citrus flavours. Medium length finish of French baguette. Absolutely lovely. And a great buy.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ruffino Prosecco is a dynamic and versatile Charmat Method sparking. 11%ABV, slightly off-dry, crisp, with mouthwatering acidity, pale straw colour and fine bubbles. Aromatics of apple and peach, medium finish with persistence of stone fruit. Wonderful with or without food. Enjoy now.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A very approachable (and value priced) dry Prosecco exhibiting beautiful orchard fruit and honeysuckle notes. The fine bubbles produce a creamy mousse that refreshes the palate and leaves a long MacIntosh apple finish. Enjoy on its own or pair with your favourite appetizers, including prosciutto-wrapped melon or savoury hors d'oeuvres, or pair with seafood or spicy Asian entrees. This would make a great house-bubbly to keep on-hand (and chilled) for those impromptu celebrations or just to enjoy on a Friday evening. Tasted October 2015. 89 points. Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 81/100 with the following review:

Made of 100% Glera.

Clear yellow color with fine bubble.

Aromas of Pear, peach, animal and floral.

The wine is fresh, rich and medium.

Pair it with oyster.
The sweetness on the salty is winner.

Serve it at 5-6 degrees.

Ready to drink.

Crisp, clean and delicate with fine bubbles caressing the palate. Intense sensations of apples and peaches drive a pleasant aftertaste that is reminiscent of fruity and floral aromas.

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Dec. 31, 2017. Colour clear like water with a slight straw tint. Fine medium minus bubbles. Thin watery legs. Aromas and flavours of peach, apple, perfume. Taste off dry, creamy and crisp, mouse mouthfeel, mouthwatering, no tannin, lots of acid, tree fruit and a slight nuttiness. Finish quick and to the point. Vintage no date. Source of grapes northern Italy. I use this product for making delicious cocktails. Mint, raspberry and pomegranate, during New Year’s Eve. Good value. Crowd pleaser.
