Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A blend of 87% Cabernet Franc, 7% Merlot, and 6% Malbec. This is one of the most memorable Cabernet Franc’s I’ve tasted in the Okanagan, and they produce some exceptional Cabernet Franc throughout the south of the valley. This Cabernet Franc is complemented with a splash of Merlot and Malbec to add additional complexity, structure, and texture resulting in a very well integrated and expressive wine. Delicious dried fruit, plum, and spice provide a slight resemblance to Ripasso Superiore, from Italy, perhaps a function of the long hang time the grapes had, with the final harvest happening in early November 2013. Enjoy with braised beef or grilled tenderloin with mushroom risotto. Tasted May 2017. 93 points. Matt Steeves – www.quercusvino.ca

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
