Lovely rich apricot preserves and honeyed almonds in this Niagara icewine. Pondview shines here with it's Vidal-based dessert wine. Pair with toasted almonds or fruit flans.

Reviews and Ratings

Lise Charest Gagne rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Layers and layers of bouquet and flavor are present with this bright yellow supple icewine. A hint of peach color is visible in the glass. Aromas of tropical fruit and stone fruit including candied papaya and caramelized baked pear. The flavors are bright with golden raisins, lychee and candied meyer lemons on the finish. The acidity on this ice wine balances out the sweet seductive richness leaving a nice smooth long lingering honey taste. I enjoyed this ice wine in a frigid glass in front of the wood stove.
This Vidal-based dessert wine from Niagara has a lovely balance of fruit to acidity with apricot preserves and honeyed almond flavours. - Community Wine Reviews
