Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Stunning vibrant garnet-cherry colour in the glass. Aromas of candied cherry and strawberry jam with a slight nutty hint. Full bodied with that creamy, luxurious texture and just enough acidity to balance out the rich flavours. Fruit notes are jammy and ripe, but not over done. Pair this alongside dark chocolate with sea salt.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Such a sexy icewine!
Aromas of candied apricots, raspberry jam, and marzipan swirl in the glass, with apricot pulling through on the palate. A delightful mouth coating persistence.
Don’t just save this one for dessert, as it will pair beautiful with jam and Brie phyllo pastry appetizers, glazed pork entrées and... of course, a variety of desserts!
Tasted May 2021.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A heavenly delight, the PondView Icewine 2019 offers an orgasmic experience, sip after sip. Made from Cabernet Franc, this icewine shows rich aromas of ripe strawberry, juicy red cherry, licorice, sweet tobacco and vanilla. Light, but so delicious, the wine’s delivers soft acidity, accompanied by a long, velvety journey throughout the layers of flavors of ripe strawberry, ripe black cherry, cinnamon, sweet tobacco and vanilla. Amazing Icewine. Enjoy!
