Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Gold in the glass with an aromatic nose of candied tropical fruit and white flowers. Pineapple, peach and lychee burst onto the palate that is silky, round and rich. The freshness of this wine screams summer decks and docks, although it is by no means a lightweight with 14.5% alcohol. Medium bodied with a long finish it will stand up to summer salads and turkey or salmon burgers. Nicely balanced and easy to take. Tasted April 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely bouquet, perfume and flowers, lemon and citrus blossom. Full body with a soft mouthfeel. Dry with good acidity. Pretty flavours of white peach, pear, and clove. Finish introduces orange blossom and tropical fruits. Intriguing barrel program that consisted of five months split between 10% new acacia and 90% French oak. Every sip is different and keeps you coming back for another sip. Try with roasted wild fowl or apricot-stuffed pork tenderloin.
Pomar Junction's Sidetrack 2017 is a great value Viognier, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc white wine blend under $20. from Paso Robles, California. Fragrant white florals and orange blossom aromas on the nose, medium-plus-bodied and smooth with rich tropical fruit, soft orange and lemon zest, stone fruit and cake spice flavours on the palate. Chill and enjoy now with a roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
