From Friuli Grave wine region, Pighin 2020 Pinot Grigio is a zesty PG, floral on the nose, dry, medium-bodied with ripe pear, apple and briny mineral flavours on the palate. The white wine grapes of Friuli Grave are grown in soils with large stones that retain the heat of the sun during the day with a slow release of that heat during the cool nights to allow the grapes to achieve full ripeness while maintaining their fresh acidity. Chill and enjoy with fish tacos.

Pinot Grigio food pairings: pan-fried freshwater fish, salads, frittata, basil pesto, herbed chicken breast.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
