A gorgeously aromatic Cabernet with deep colour and a mind-blowing velvet texture on the palate. There is also small amounts of Merlot, Shiraz and Malbec grapes in the blend. Rich, supple and full-bodied with aromas of dark fruit and smoke. Pair with duck or game meats.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: roast beef, rare steak, grilled meats, game.

All mint, muscle and strength. Gorgeous black and blue fruit with lifted notes of Worcestershire sauce and candied flowers. 93 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)

Aromatic ripe red berries, with a luxurious palate that unfolds in layers of ripe fruit, savoury herbs and mint. Well-balanced with good acidity. Would be wonderful with your next prime rib. Great gift wine for a Cab lover.
Tasted Nov. 2017
Caitlin Coleman rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Brambly and savoury notes in this deep garnet Cabenet Sauvignon from Australia. Spearmint and blueberry are indisputable on the palate and it makes so much sense!
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Well concentrated, deep and dark. Balanced with a solid structure. Complex. Integrating well. Dark ripe berry, savoury, eucalyptus. Pair with a rare BBQ steak. Tasted 2013 after 2h decant in Nov 2017. Good value. 92 points. #BespokeTastings
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A divine rustic blend of black plums, anise, smoke, and prominent eucalyptus notes. The palate is rich, juicy and full-bodied. Well-balanced acidity, developiing tannins and long-lasting concentrated flavours offer great cellar potential, though it's drinking quite well now if you don't the upfront hit of young developing tannins. Decant for two hours prior to serving and enjoy with braised Montreal-style smoked meat. Tasted Nov 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Dark and great aroma. Full bodied with a lot of dark fruit on the palette. Long lingering spicy finish.
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Purple with aromas of blackberry, plum, mint and blueberry jam. It is full bodied with black cherry and black pepper flavours leading into a long finish. This will pair nicely with hamburgers, grilled steak or firm cheeses. Tasted on November 19, 2017.
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with a lovely nose showing cassis, blackberry, cedar and lightly herbal. Full bodied, rich and extracted on the palate, it mirrors the nose along with some pencil lead. Good structure with the tannins turning a little chewy on a long finish. This needs some time in the bottle or decant and hour before serving with a rare rib-eye steak.

Simon Chen rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is in between an old world and new world cab. It has a nice rich flavor on the initial palate but it follows with some refreshing vegetale greeness. Medium+ body and medium+ finish.
Gwen Barton rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely med/full-bodied Cab. Rich, robust with nice complexity. Black fruit, dark chocolate and sweet spice aromas. Flavours of Cassis, dark cherry, cloves, cedar, and eucalyptus. Medium tannins that could soften with cellaring. Sweet spice lingers on the finish. Pair with wine-braised beef short ribs. Tasted Nov 2017
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with purple hue. Lots of red berries freshness with some flowery notes. Extra dry, slightly grippy tannins. Tastes of ripe fruits, savoury herbs. and mint. Score 90.
(S.Segard, reviewed Nov. 19, 2017)
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The dark purple tone of this Cabernet Sauvignon hints at what's to follow. Aromas of ripe berries and mocha are followed by flavours of black cherry and peppery spices. Smooth, with medium tannins. Great paired with roast beef or BBQ. steak. Tasted November 19, 2017.
Valérie Dufour - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Purple robe as dark as ink that is telling you one thing even before you taste it: it will be a heavy duty wine. Stewed blackberries aromas with tobacco and spices and notes of green pepper. Aromatic, but typical of cabernet sauvignon aged in barrels and with high alcohol. Pow! The mouth is full, but tannins are melted. Juicy. Quite long, but mostly because of the alcohol. A nice wine to pair with bavette. A little over the top, but that is the goal here.
