Periquita Reserva 2016 is a dry and robust red wine made by José Maria da Fonseca and produced with Castelão, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca red wine grapes from the Setubal wine region in Portugal. Look for rich dark cherry, blackberry, plum and vanilla flavours on the palate. Excellent on its own or pair with grilled pork chops.

Food pairings: braised beef dishes, turkey, soft cheese, roasted pork, lamb.

Great price and lots of flavour. Aromas of cherry, blackberries, wet stone, and mint. Full bodied, with some smooth tannins. Fruit forward on the palate with a hint of vanilla on the finish. Enjoy with marinated pork or chicken dishes.
