Solid performer year after year and especially at this price point. Savoury, meaty, juicy Chilean Cabernet that's grown in the Maipo Alto region of the country where it enjoys a Mediterranean climate and piedmont stony soils. Pair with brisket.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: lamb Bolognese, grilled New York strip loin, hard cheese, braised pork shanks, veal chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Cherie Cole rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This full-bodied red from Maipo Valley is a perfect expression of the Cabernet Sauvignon varietal. Deep ruby with a purple hue, you will find aromas of dark plum, cherry, oak, vanilla and mint. Full-bodied with a medium finish, this wine would pair well with grilled red meat or hard cheddar cheese. Tasted December 29, 2015.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 reviewed this wine as follows:

Full bodied and flavourful, aromas on this Cab include currants, eucalyptus, cedar and a hint of caramel. Smooth tannin, rich red fruit on the palate. Medium finish. Great value wine from Chile. This would work with a variety of dishes including pork tenderloin or prime rib.
Don reviewed this wine as follows:
