Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

From Marlborough, New Zealand, the 2015 vintage is just as delicious as the 2014. Citrus, vanilla and brioche on the nose with a rich palate revealing layers of lime, guava, passsionfruit, vanilla, buttery caramel, toast and a hint of smoke. Full-bodied, creamy and smooth, with tantalizing acidity and a long elegant finish. Currently on sale at the LCBO, so grab a couple of bottles soon!

Dianne Sheridan - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

With just a hint of oak, this wine is a crowd pleaser. A portion of the ferment is transferred to French oak and slow temperature controlled fermented for a few weeks. With not too much oak and balanced acidity, New Zealand produces more than just Sauvignon Blanc. This Chardonnay is very refreshing with flavours of melon, apple and lemon. It is lively and full bodied with a long, buttery citrus finish. Chill and drink now.

Enjoy on it's own, or pair with fish, Caesar salad, roasted chicken or shrimp .
