a rich and satisfying Bordeaux-style blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Osoyoos Larose is produced by single-vineyard varietals and this vintage is beautifully lush, balanced and juicy with ripe dark berry, cherry, raspberry, plum, tobacco leaf and baking spice flavours on the palate. Finishing long and luxurious. Can easily cellar for 10 years to show its best.

Food pairings: filet mignon, pork tenderloin, pizza, pasta, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This Bordeaux style blend from Okanagan Valley is a blend of Merlot (57%), Cabernet Franc (17%), Cabernet Sauvignon (16%) completed by Petit Verdot (6%).

Deep purple color with aromas of blackberry, vanilla, oak barrel and eucalyptus

This wine is long, with silky tannins and is balanced on the palate.

Serve it at 15-17 degrees.
Ready to drink but ca be aged 8-10 years.
Pair it with red meats.
From South Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Osoyoos Larose Le Grand Vin 2015 is a balanced, harmonious and full-bodied Bordeaux-style blend of 58% Merlot, 26% Cabernet sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 7% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet in the glass with dark berry, spicy and earthy aromas on the nose. Dry, full-bodied, layered with dark cherry, blueberry, dark plum, savoury herbs, spicy and toasty oak flavours on the palate. Tannins are fine and gritty with medium-plus acidity. Decant two hours prior to pouring with a grilled prime rib steak. Although could easily cellar for a dozen years or more. - Community Wine Reviews
