Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

So, on the back label of T.N.T. (non-vintage) Lodi Appellation estate grown Chardonnay it is printed “An immense fruit forward profile that packs a punch” and they are not kidding. And just like an explosion, the wine starts off as a big oaky bomb, so much so, it’s difficult to discern any fruit flavours, but then, diffuse the bomb by decanting the wine and leaving it in the wine fridge for about an hour… and it is a whole different wine.

This gold-hued dry, full-bodied Chardonnay is crisp and mouth-watering with ripe pear, fresh-cut apple, buttered toast with lemon pudding and vanilla cream on the palate. There is no malo on this wine and it needs food. Feed it a roast chicken or juicy pork chops from the grill. Tasted February 2022.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
