Full-bodied with toasty black fruit and oak. Decant 1-2 hours and pair with rare steak. This is a Spanish red wine blend of 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 10% Graciano and Mazuelo grapes. The wine was aged 24 months in French and American oak casks. Pair with grilled lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A big full bodied with with loads of fruit, spice, and smoke. Primarily blackberry and raspberry, there are lots of smoky dark fruits. A great wine for pulled pork sandwiches, roasts, or sipping in front of a campfire on a cool night.
Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 81/100 with the following review:

Priya: Smells alcoholic, strong, overpowers any fruit or other aromas! Has some saltiness, quite strong tasting, a bit much for me at this latter stage of the evening with not enough fruit to offset. 78 pts

Alex: Classic nose of cocoa, tobacco, dried strawberry, and glue. Real savory, with a dry, earthy palate, quite zesty and sour with a bitter strawberry and dried herbs finish of moderate length. 84 pts

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
