A lovely, light-bodied, strawberry-fresh French rose that's a tasty blend of 86% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc grapes. Although this is made in Bordeaux, the style is more reminescent of Provence with its delicacy and freshness. Pair with salmon, grilled chicken and sunny decks.

Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Of course I want what I can't have in the LCBO. (Yet.)

A beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated yet playful dry rosé bursting with loads of field berries and minerality sucked me right in to its vortex. Refreshing, aromatic, clean and lip-smackingly delicious!

Pair with cheese and charcuterie boards, sweltering summer patio sessions with friends and family - poultry, pork, salmon are also ideal proteins.

Don't be fooled, this wine can fly solo if it really wants to!
Somm4All WSET 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

It is said we only emulate those we love and respect, and Mouton Cadet draws more than a little inspiration from the Provence region with their 2018 Vintage Rose. While produced using only Bordeaux grown grapes, the blends chosen and use of gentle pressing gives way to a light, fresh and fruit-driven rose that calls to mind the Southeastern French Coast. Merlot dominant with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon and a drop of Cab Fran the nose opens with fresh strawberry, red raspberry, red current and soft sweet herbal tones. On the palate that same fresh fruit from the nose continues, infused with a little fresh earth, a touch of tannin and mild spice. A sure-fire "crowd-pleaser" and extremely budget friendly to boot – you can’t go wrong stocking up on this one for the Summer. Enjoy as an everyday Summer sipper or alongside a spinach and strawberry salad.
Cora Beaulieu rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Mouton Cadet Rosé blended of wines made using the direct pressing method. This method produces a lighter coloured wine than a classic Bordeaux Rosé. It is heaping with generous fruit aromas and flavours. The nose reveals fresh red fruit aromas, especially strawberry, raspberry and red currant. Then the wine develops notes of aromatic herbs, such as mint. Red fruit flavours on the palate, with a supple and delicate fresh and round finish. This straightforward wine is refreshingly fruity, with soft, yet crisp acidity. This delish wine is meant to be drunk young to enjoy its freshness and fruit. Ideal for meals and aperitifs, it will go perfectly with Provençal-style food.
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Wine is pale pink in colour with a light body, dry, refreshing acidity, and medium intensity nose with a mildly salty tang, initial faint strawberry and citrus aroma, deepening to fresh, sweet red fruit. Tastes zesty, with a mild salty tang, citrus zest and red fruit. Finish is short and tastes of fresh citrus with red fruit. #moutoncadet Winemaker Lunch

Cherie Cole rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

What a pretty Rosé hailing from Bordeaux. One could easily mistaken it as a Rosé from Provence, with its elegant bouquet. Keeping true to Bordeaux varietals, this blend of 84% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc, presents notes of strawberry, raspberry, feminine, floral notes with a hint of fresh thyme. Pair this wine with grilled pork or enjoy on your patio with good company. Tasted June 2019.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Summer sipper by excellence, the Mouton Cadet Rosé 2018 is what all rosés should be. Fruity, refreshing and low in tannins. Made from 86% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc, this easy-drinking rosé offers flavors of cherry, raspberry, violet and watermelon. Such a perfect summer starter. Enjoy! Tasted at Mouton Cadet, Ottawa tasting June 2019.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Made in a lighter style than some typical Bordeaux rose wines. Very pretty in the glass, this is blended from Merlot (84%), Cabernet Sauvignon (12%) and Cabernet Franc (2%). Light, with aromas of strawberries. melon, and a hint of mint. Lovely acidity on the palate. Enjoy with salmon or other seafood. Would love to see this available in Ontario!
Sally rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

An excellent value rosé from Mouton Cadet. Wild strawberries, white cherries and a fine salinity on the nose which is replicated on the palate with hints of soft herbs. Good body, it was matured sur-lie for 5 months, medium acidity and a pleasant lingering finish. Great with grilled shrimp, pork or a charcuterie board with hard cheeses.

OPUSCRU.COM Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

86% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc
Made via direct press method, this well-structured, yet balanced blush is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Gently integrated tannins brush the pallet with nuances of pink grapefruit, mint and honeydew melon. Delicate red berry notes come to life while a lip-smacking finish leaves you longing for another sip. Don’t overpower with food. Instead, pair with gently seared Ahi tuna cubes, poached salmon, or “sans Cuisine” with good company.
