Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Superb wine made by Montgras winery located in the Maipo Valley in Chile, the Intriga 2016 exposes aromas of black plum, fig, black pepper, clay dust, leather, vanilla and oak. Blended from 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, this delicious Chilean delivers structure and balance. Its tannins are silky and its acidity is supple. The wine shows great drinkability, and a warm and suave finish. Palate: plum, berry jam, black pepper, leather, mocha and oak. Enjoy!
A lovely concentration of blackberry, cassis, crushed raspberry and violets on Intriga 2016 balanced with bright acidity on the palate. Nice smoky nose as well. The 2016 is a blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and some Petit Verdot. - Community Wine Reviews
