Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely Cabernet Sauvignon from Montes Alpha, the 2016 Chilean, harvested in the Colchagua Valley, reveals aromas of black plum, berry jam, dried herb, black pepper, leather, vanilla and oak. Well balanced, this full body wine show an elegant complexity and a deep fruity finish. The palate shows dark skin plum, black currant, dried herbs, black pepper, leather, coffee and oak. Enjoy!
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Currently on sale in LCBO in Ontario making this a pretty good value. Aromas of currant, plum, blackberry, leather, vanilla and tobacco. Full bodied, lovely balance of fruit, spice, smoke and mocha on the palate. Tannins are smooth but add a bit of texture. Enjoy with marinated flank steak or a robustly flavoured lentil dish.
