Not as sweet as I anticipated, but rather a lovely blueberry escape to sensual pleasure. Would pair not only with dessert, but also roast turkey and chicken.

Blueberry Wine food pairings: serve chilled and pair with fowl, salty feta, or Thai, roast turkey.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Tart and clean, wild zesty blueberry. Would pair nicely with an unsweetened blueberry dessert like a blueberry tart or , sponge cake. Would be interesting to try a roast turkey and blueberry cranberry sauce and roast vegetables. Tasted June 2017. 88 points. Unique to Canada
The Reka blueberries for this wine are grown on our own farms, and are given the same extraordinary care and attention that all of the Monte Creek Ranch artisan products receive. This 100% Blueberry wine is excellent with food thanks to its bright, natural acidity and dry palate. It has a bright fuchsia colour. You will notice notes of blueberry, lilac, and white peach on the nose and big fruit and floral flavours on the palate.
