Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Love the nose full of ripe blueberries and cake spice on Monster Vineyards Shiraz 2016. Dry, medium-plus-bodied, smooth and tasty with black currant, blueberry blackberry, anise, nutmeg and cinnamon spice flavours on the palate. Ready to drink now and for the next three years. Pair with juicy beef burgers and ribs from the grill. A fun and well-priced Shiraz from a wet and challenging 2016 season with the saving grace of a long, warm and moderate fall. Very nicely done!
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Cracked open this lovely and affordable wine in honour of Halloween this week. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, warm spice and leather. Full bodied and smooth on the palate, fruit and berry notes are plush and ripe, and the finish has more spicy and leathery notes. Enjoy with grilled burgers, marinated flank steak, or sausages.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
