Big and juicy New Zealand red wine, with pleasingly tart and vibrant cherry aromas and flavours in this kiwi pinot noir. Smooth and medium- to full-bodied. Very tasty. Mouth-watering acidity is fantastic for a range of dishes, from planked salmon to roast chicken.

Pinot Noir food pairings: salad, mushroom risotto, planked salmon, frittata, coq au vin.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Cranberry cocktail comes to mind after my initial evaluations of this New Zealand Pinot Noir. This style is primarily in the 'candied berry' category for me. This is not my style of Pinot, so we can say Momo is a NoNo for me. Acidity is zingy and high and tannins are also (unfortunately high). I could see how this this an easy drinking wine for novice wine drinkers. It is light bodied but a tad out of balance). Serve slightly chilled on a hot patio with with grilled jalapeno cheddar sausages. Tasted July 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Made by the film director of many famous movies, including several of the Harry Potter series. This red wine is bio-gro certified and the grapes came from three vineyard sites. The wine was aged 11 months in old French barrels. "Offspring" in the native Maori language translates to Momo. Grapes are grown in two of the Seresin family vineyards and are hand-picked, hand-sorted and naturally fermented with wild yeast. - Community Wine Reviews
