An acidic Pinot Noir with tart red berry notes and some toast. This medium-bodied red wine cries out for food like roast chicken or turkey.

Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Tart cherry, raspberry and vanilla with beautiful floral overtones of lavender and lilac. Cherry and blackberry on the palate with a mouthwatering acidity. Would be lovely with a French onion soup.

Eye:
Ruby, pale depth.

Nose:
Sugary plum, dark red fruit, pomegranate, some floral which later increased.

Palate:
Simple, balanced, fairly long, intensity medium plus, a little herbal. Not complex but long with dark red fruit notes.

Value Rating: 86

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

A rich and seductive Pinot Noir with enticing aromas of raspberry, black cherry, and Asian spices. The suave palate is bursting with wild berry fruit and is enhanced by further notes of cola, mineral, and a subtle hint of French oak.

Elegant and graceful, with pure, ripe red berry, spice, anise and mineral that gain depth and length, ending with complex flavours of raspberry, black cherry, and Asian spices. The supple palate bursts with wild berry fruit and is further enhanced by a subtle hint of French oak.
