This wine doesn't need to ride on the back of their celebrity: it stands alone as a terrific, refreshing rose with aromas of small field strawberries, orange zest and light spices. It's made by the much-respected Perrin family. Should I add though that there's a hint of drama on the nose, with a surprise twist finish? Sure to be a box office hit at your liquor store. Bottled Hollywood style in a lovely, shapely vessel. Lovely ballet slipper pink hue. Finishes floral and elegant. Pair with oysters and movie night.

Rosé food pairings: planked salmon, pate, roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A pale salmon pink colour with a pretty nose of ripe strawberries and raspberries. The refreshing palate repeats with a slight herbal touch of lavender. Dry with an herbal berry finish.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie launched their first wine with the 2012 vintage, a lovely, pink petal, bone-dry rose from Provence. The couple owns the winery and estate Château Miraval, even though you'll find no reference to them on the label. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
