Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pretty, bright, and fresh Barbera, with aromas of raspberry, plum and cherry with hints of florals, and a note of dried herbs. Medium bodied on the palate, bright acidity with a soft touch of tannins. Bright fruit on the palate, balanced nicely with that acidity and a touch of savoury herbs. Enjoy with rustic stews or hearty game meats.
Michele Chiarlo Le Orme 2020 Barbera D'asti is a classic Barbera, fragrant with lavender, violets, raspberry, cherry and fine herb flavours vibrant and lifted on the palate. Classified at the DOCG level, the wine is excellent value at $16. - Community Wine Reviews
