Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A peppery, spicy fruit nose, followed by a palate showing bright black cherry, spice, earth and oak. Full-bodied with a spicy finish.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A pretty red wine with aromas and flavours of fresh red cherry, strawberry, violets, black earth and toffee. Not an overly long but pleasant cherry cordial finish.
Tasted: April 2015
Produced by Domaine Boissezon Guiraud, this robust southern French red wine is a blend of 52% Syrah, 17% Grenache, 17% Carignan and the remainder Cinsault grapes. The wine is not oaked, but rather rests on its lees in the tank for extra depth and creaminess. The 2013 vintage of the Saint Chinian Les Cerises features black fruit on the nose and palate. - Community Wine Reviews
