Reviews and Ratings

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An abundance of red and black fruit on the nose with some oaky and wood flavors along with a dash of pepper. Finishes with soft tannins.
Carola Price rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Clear and cherry red to core. Nose black pepper, stewed black fruit, and smokey oak. In the mouth it tastes like a warm night by the fire at the chalet. Black fruit that isn't too jammy, plum, black pepper and some cedar/ smokey notes. It has a medium body and doesn't finish with too much alcohol. Pair with beef pot roast or mushroom ravioli in a rich mushroom, herb and pepper cream. Drink now to 3 years.
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Medium, translucent ruby in colour. Stewed black and red fruits, with underlying cedar and tobacco leaf notes. The fresh acidity is nicely counterbalanced by the medium body, plush texture, velvetty tannins and cedar oak flavour. The finish is slightly warm, with a touch of astringency.
