A lovely, delicate, dry Californian rose with aromas of small field berries. Mouth-watering and refreshing. Perfect as a chilled aperitif or companion to seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Very fresh, almost hard to put my finger on it but I like it. Peach and passionfruit, grapefruit, lime. Everything I want in a rose, light and fresh and not overwhelming. Perfect pairing with the first 20 degree day of the year. I would also like it with a trout in a browned butter sauce. Maybe a little dill and lemon.
Brian rated this wine as 90/100
Simon Chen rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

a fairly balanced and approachable rose. It is juicy, touch of sweetness, and balanced that can go well with any occasions in the summer.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is Meiomi’s first production of Rose and they have done it well. Its made with a blend of grapes from Sonoma, Monterey and Santa Barbara and aged in stainless steel. The pretty salmon colour hints at the aromas of rose petals and watermelon followed by peach and strawberry in the mouth. It’s quite dry with some soft mineral layers. It would be great by itself while sitting on the dock or with some barbecued seafood. Tasted at the California Wine Fair, April 19, 2018.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of strawberry and apricot. I found this quite dry rosé, despite label saying it was 'off-dry.' Faint flavours of cranberry. Pair with BBQ or seafood.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A lovely, pale coloured rose with some robust flavours. Aromas include strawberry, peach, and melon, with a bit of a stony minerality. Dry to off dry, with a lot of berry notes on the palate. A perfect wine for a summer afternoon, will also pair nicely with seafood, in particular shrimp salads or a nicely seared tuna tataki.
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Meiomi Pinot Noir has become a pretty trusted brand in the last half decade. This rose has a lot of charm. It's crisp and dry, with lots of grapefruit and cherry to the nose.
The palate is refreshing and ripe. Much more red grapefruit, Ranier cherry, and peach.
Well made and tasty. Pair it with fresh-caught trout.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Stonefruit and floral garden on the nose with white peach on the palate. Nice minerality throughout. Tasted May 2018.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Strawberry aromas as well as mineral notes, clementine, and white flowers on the nose.

On the palate, it has subtle red berry, clementine, and almond at the finish.

This wine is light enough to enjoy on it its own or pair with light appetizers.
