From Bodegas Rectoral de Amandi, Matilda Nieves 2020 is a vibrant red wine blend of 85% Mencia, 8% Garnacha and 7% Sousón with grapes sourced from the incredibly steep slopes of Ribeira Sacra. Fragrant with ripe dark plum, blackberry, mulberry and blueberry aromas, the wine is silky and mouth-filling with dark berry and ripe plum flavours fresh, vibrant and silky on the palate. Tannins are velvety.

Mencia food pairings: veal cutlets, lamb lollipops, Portobello mushroom burgers.
