Masi Costasera Riserva 2017 Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico is a rich and vibrant red wine blend of 70% Corvina, 15% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta and a splash of Molinara. Warming at 15% abv., the wine is a generous mouthful of candied cherry, plum, meaty, smoky vanilla and bitter chocolate flavours with a fresh finish ending on a piney and balsamic note. In 1353, Pietro Alighieri, son of Florentine poet Dante Alighieri, who wrote The Inferno among other great works, purchased the land that’s still at the heart of this winery. The family have tended these vineyards for 20 generations.

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico food pairings: leg of lamb, pasta with tomato sauce, venison, beef daube, polenta dishes.
