Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Pretty spectacular, featuring oodles of golden Apple, unripe stone fruit, citrus blossom, dried hay and excellent integration of vanilla from the oak. 91 Points. Pair with grilled oily fish.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a big chardonnay from Marlborough - ginger and apple on the nose - with the more on the palate - apple, pear, white pepper, vanilla. Warm and toasty almond butter on the finish.
From Wairau Valley, Marlborough, The King's Legacy (2015) is a cool-climate, medium-bodied Chardonnay with ripe stonefruit, ginger and toasted nuts on the palate. Good acidity on this Chardonnay (also known as the King`s Bastard) and finishes long and spicy. - Community Wine Reviews
