Reviews and Ratings

Carola Price rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pineapple, peach, flint, butter on the nose.
Sweet tropical fruit and buttery overtones that finishes strong.
Lots of alcohol and fruit that lasts 30 plus seconds.
Pair with grilled and roasted white meats and any vegetarian option that is not in tomato sauce.
Drink now to 4 years.
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Very ripe nose, with stewed peaches, poached pear, citrus and floral hints. Sweet and lush on the palate, with exotic fruits and honeysuckle. The texture is creamy and broad, with layers of toasty, vanilla oak. An overt, heady style of Chardonnay.
A complex and rich cool-climate (2014) Chardonnay from where the cool Pacific breezes waft through Sonoma's Russian River Valley in California and where Valley fog gently slopes up the hillsides - all ideal conditions for this zesty Chardonnay. The grapes are grown in the winery's estate Don Miquel Vineyard. "Acero" is named for the Spanish word for "steel", a fact that this wine has never seen oak. - Community Wine Reviews
