Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A big bold Malbec but not overly showy from wine celebrity Michel Rolland. A lovely inky note on the nose, with some perfumed aromatics and a subtlety together with a boldness at the same time. Elegant with a long finish. I suggest decanting this wine before drinking. Try with chorizo, cumin and tomato paella. @wrightwineblog
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Intense opaque purple colour. Nose is initially tight, eventually yielding ripe fruit aromas of blackberry, plum, and black cherry over espresso. Tannins are remarkably fine grained, very grippy, but smooth. Body is a very full 15% ABV, just barely contained by the tannins and firm acidity. Top notch wine, way too young at the moment. Cellar for three to five years, and enjoy from ten years of age onward. Keep it simple, march with Argentine steak, and let this wine be the star it is.
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina, this vintage is easily drinkable now. Dark fruit and mineral aromas lead to a palate of high tannins. Decant for several hours and serve with barbeque steak. Tasted February 2020.
Produced by Michel Rolland Mariflor 2015 Malbec is ripe on the nose with black cherry, earthy violets and mineral aromas on the nose. Medium-plus-bodied with dark plum, blueberry, dark cherry, coffee, earthy and stony, iron flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm and chewy. Give it another two years in cellar to mellow and begin to show its best .- Community Wine Reviews
